Allison Morris is a Florida native and mother of one. She graduated from Crestview High School and earned Magna Cum Laude to obtain an Associates in Applied Science in Industrial Management Technology and has over 20 years of experience in customer and public relations. Allison has over 6 years of experience in Benefits Administration and 3 years in Supply Chain and Logistics. She is a community advocate with over 30 years of volunteering efforts in the local community and an avid supporter of the arts.
De'Carlo Garcia is a Texas native and father of one child. He graduated from Lufkin High School and studied Electronic Avionics while serving in the United States Air Force and has been a military contractor for over 15 years. He is the current Chairman of the Citizens Advisory Council for the Mayor of Crestview. He has over 12 years of experience in community service, philanthropy, is a local filmmaker.
As a native to the Emerald Coast due to her father’s military career, Wanjiku Jackson calls Fort Walton Beach home. She is the caregiver to a teen warrior and is very active in the community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration, Masters of Science in Management from Troy (State) University, where she was also a member of the legendary Sound of the South Marching and Concert Bands. She also obtained a graduate certificate in College Teaching & Leadership from the University of Central Florida and is eCornell Certified in Diversity & Inclusion. Ms. Jackson began her career of 18 years in higher education at Northwest Florida State College and now she has the honor of remaining local while supporting Eglin Air Force Base. Wanjiku enjoys speaking to local, regional, and state organizations regarding topics involving health, education, social justice, diversity, inclusion, and equity and her local community is at the heart of all her efforts. She believes in the importance of long-term volunteerism to make a change and has led various civic and community organizations.
Tarah Payne is a native of Texas. With years of experience working in various community organizations, Tarah brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the board. Her passion and commitment to making a positive difference in the world is evident in everything she does. Tarah is a strong communicator and collaborator. Her dedication to the nonprofit's mission inspires others to get involved and make a difference in their community. As a valued member of the board, Tarah is committed to ensuring that the nonprofit remains true to its values and continues to advocate for sickle cell education in our communities.
Katrina Kirby is a native to Fort Walton Beach, FL. She is a business professional in many fields. She was raised in a military environment placing her all over the world and has seen many places and met many people. Her background covers Human Resources and Client Services for Hilton and a piano instructor. She is very active in the community and serves with other nonprofits as well such as Impact Emerald Coast and Erace the Trace Okaloosa.
